The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self

Carl Trueman's new book, The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism, and the Road to Sexual Revolution, is finally available. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It may be one of the most important Christian books to have been published in the last ten years. If you want to understand how our culture reached the point it is at today, take up and read. This book should be required reading for anybody in any kind of Christian leadership position.
